It is about a 2 hour flight from Anchorage, 50 minutes from Glennallen, and 25 minutes from Chitina.

FLY/DRIVE
You might want to experience both the drive and a flight on your trip to Wrangell-St. Elias National Park. You can do this by taking a van from Chitina to McCarthy with the Kennicott Shuttle, and flying back to Chitina with Wrangell Mountain Air or vice versa. This is a great way to see the Park, and can be booked with either company.
However you decide to get to Kennicott, you’ll have the opportunity to see some of the best scenery in Alaska. If we can help with your arrangements or if you have questions regarding our lodge, please email or call us.
